How does the computer software operate? The computer software is loaded into the computer’s memory. When the computer software has loaded the computer is ready to execute the program. The computer program is executed and the computer is in operation. The hardware gets the information as the machine code. As the computer receives the instruction the computer carries out an operation. The data moves from one place in the memory to another. The way the computer software operates is when a user selects an entry form the menu. A conditional instruction is given to copy text from data in a document area in the memory and the perhaps to an intermediate storage area.
